Images are data-rich – that is they are often worth a “thousand words”.  These activities focus on photographs at locations and environments students will be visiting in the Estuary LIVE 2003 broadcast and focus on issues and problems the residents of coastal Louisiana are struggle with on a daily basis. These activities have been especially designed for EstuaryLIVE 2003.  They are marked with a camera symbol.

Each BTNE eLIVE  activity is correlated to selected National Science Education Standards are listed below by grade level and strand: 

Grade Level  (ES=Elementary School, MS=Middle School, HS=High School)
